Each institution entering the 2012-2013 BUCS Football leagues is required to affiliate to their County FA. Institutions from Scotland are required to apply directly to the Scottish Football Association.
BUCS cannot run football leagues until the leagues are sanctioned. BUCS will automatically deduct one league point from every team at institutions not affiliated by FRIDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2012. The FA is not able to sanction the league without every affiliation number therefore BUCS will withdraw non affiliated universities from the league on Friday 21 September 2012.

BUCS must have the affiliation number for every Men's and Women's university club. Please note Men's and Women's clubs must be affiliated separately.
BUCS require each institution's affiliation number and contact details. You must first affiliate to your local county FA (or Scottish FA for Scottish institutions) and then complete the BUCS online affiliation form and return to the BUCS Office no later than FRIDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2012. Your affiliation number from English County FAs should start with a letter and include 3 letters followed by 4 numbers.
If you are unsure how to affiliate your club/s please see the points below.
1. If your team/teams participated in the 2011-2012 BUCS Leagues please refer to your affiliation information and contacts from last season.
2. Contact your County FA / Scottish FA IMMEDIATELY requesting affiliation forms if you have not already received them for 2012-2013.
3. Complete the required forms and submit the appropriate fee for your team/s to the County FA / Scottish FA
4. Please complete on the County Form whether or not you have a Futsal Team.
5. Complete the online submisssion form in full and return to BUCS by FRIDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2012
Scottish Universities
