Sports: Squash

The squash premier league is played over 2 weekends in the first term with 8 teams competing in both the men’s and women’s competition. Initially teams compete in two groups of 4 with the winners and winners of the crossover matches between 2nd and 3rd placed teams progressing to the 2nd stage ‘Upper Group’ and losers entering the ‘Lower Group’. Below the Premier League teams compete in a league programme throughout the season from October to February. The Individual Championships are a separate event. The competition has grown dramatically with 7 grades for men and 3 for women.
