The BUCS domestic programme continues to grow with more teams and individuals competing in university sport than ever before. In 2014/15 team entries in the BUCS leagues increased by 4% to 4,843 and individual entries up to 29,000.

Representing your university in BUCS competition is a proud moment for any student, and there are 47 sports in which students can do this and earn BUCS points for their university. Some will even be lucky enough to compete in world class venues such as Twickenham Stadium where our Rugby Championship finals are held every year.

For those who choose individual sports the BUCS Nationals are the highlight of the season. The Nationals in their third year in 2015, are the largest annual multi-sport event in the UK attracting almost 6000 athletes to compete for national honours. BUCS Big Wednesday is the culmination of the teams seasons with championship finals in more than 20 sports all being played on one day and at one venue.

We are also working to provide more opportunities for students to play sport, and in 2013 launched LUSL (the London University Sports League) that enabled universities within the London Region to compete locally outside of our national domestic programme.

BUCS Premier Playoff Fixture Document 2015/16

Please click here to see the Premier Playoff Fixtures (v8 updated 11/04/16) for the 2015/16 season as teams looks to be promoted for the 2016/17 season. These fixtures are scheduled for the 13th, 20th & 27th April.

BUCS Rules and Regulations 2015/16

The BUCS rules and regulations for the 2015/16 season can be accessed through www.bucs.org.uk/rules, which includes match official requirements. Please note that the 2015/16 regulations are currently under review and will be available from Monday 10th August 2015.

League Withdrawals

If you wish to withdraw a team from one of the BUCS leagues please use your BUCScore account to request (to BUCS) this removal and then contact all other teams in the league to inform them of this withdrawal. Click here for more information.
