EUSA

Entry into a EUSA Championship is determined by the relevant BUCS Sports Management Group (SMG). The number of entries per Championship varies, and Great Britain entries will be taken from the BUCS Championship Knock Out competition for that sport. Eligible teams will be contacted by the SMG for their sport at the conclusion of the BUCS Championship to determine their interest in attending.

BUCS does not allocate any funding for sending teams to EUSA Championships, the full cost is expected to be paid by the University. This will include all travel costs, the per diem cost of 50 euros per person per day and entry free of 20 euros per person. It may also, in some events include providing and paying for a suitably qualified referee / judge.

Each University will also be expected to pay a deposit for entry into the competition of between 500 euro and 1000 euro which will have to be paid directly to EUSA. The deposits required for each sport is as follows:

Futsal, Football, Volleyball, Basketball & Rugby 7’s
1000 euro

Rowing, Table Tennis, Tennis & Badminton
500 euro
