Paddy was first appointed to the SMG in 1995 and took the chair in 1997.
He has and still organises many BUCS Championships including the Hillclimb, Track and MTB events. Since 1999 he has been the Rep Team manager for the Road team which compete at many 'Premier' UK races and took the Team to compete in Italy in 2002 in a 6 day stage race. He was the team manager for GB at the World Student Championships held in Antwerp in 2006 and Nijmegen in 2008.
He his also a qualified National MTB commissaire.
In recognition of his contribution to BUCS cycling he was made an associate member in 2001.
Bill is currently Head of Sport and Leisure Services at City University and has a wide array of knowledge within the cycling sector having worked with National Off Road Bicycle Association, GT Bicycles Off-Road Cycling Team and Amore’ Vida Professional Road Cycling Team.
Richard is currently Secretary of Edinburgh University Cycling Club, having held the position of President for the last two years. He has been a competitor in many of the BUCS Championships for the past five years in a range of disciplines. As a member of EUCC's committee he has first hand experience of what is involved with organising a team to attend these events along with a good understanding of how the BUCS Championships are run.
