BUCS is a membership organisation with providers of Higher Education courses in the United Kingdom eligible to apply for membership.
Please note membership is not available to individuals.
A provider of Higher Education is defined as a legal entity which is officially recognised or listed. 'Recognised' bodies are higher learning institutions that can award degrees, with 'listed' bodies being higher learning institutions that offer courses in the UK that can lead to a degree from a recognised body.
In the event that an entity does not appear on either of these UK Government lists then other demonstrable evidence must be submitted to the Company to consider.
Payment of Membership Fees
The annual membership or 'Affiliation Fee' must be paid by 1 October each year. Failure by any institution to pay in full by this date shall result in suspension of the institution from membership. Payments received after this date will trigger a % surcharge. Any member institution which remains suspended as at the first day of the season will be unable to play in any BUCS competition.
A guide on becoming a BUCS Member and what is required in order to apply can be found on the right hand side of this page.
