REPORT DOPING IN SPORT

Report Doping in Sport is an anonymous 24-hour phone line and online service that provides athletes, support personnel and concerned friends and family with a secure and confidential way to report information or suspicions about doping in sport.

Managed in partnership with Crimestoppers, the initiative is one of many tools UK Anti-Doping uses for intelligence gathering, a technique that informs the development of effective testing strategies and education and prevention programmes.

All calls are managed by a dedicated team of operators, trained in anti-doping. Information is fed into the UK Anti-Doping Intelligence Unit and processed following the National Intelligence Model, which is widely used by law enforcement agencies. Any information provided is treated in confidence and researched and investigated to support the fight against doping in sport.

The phone line gives the sporting community a simple mechanism by which they can lodge any suspicions or evidence they may have, safe in the knowledge there is nothing to fear by doing so.
