    Leeds Met made it seven wins from seven with a comfortable win at Northumbria. Meanwhile Loughborough remain hot on their heels after a convincing win at St Marys.

  • BUCS is pleased to announce that bookings are now open for delegates to attend the inaugural Increasing Participation Development Day. The event is being hosted at Sheffield Hallam University on Tuesday 17th January 2012.

  • BUCS have supported the successful appointments this week of nine representatives from Great Britain to FISU, the International University Sports Federation.

  • A Great Britain Universities Tennis team will compete at the FISU-sanctioned BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament from the 8 – 12 December in Rouen, France, marking the first event in the BUCS International Programme for 2011-12. The 4-day tournament will take place on clay, and the team will consist of 6 student athletes.

    Loughborough moved second in the table with a huge 104-0 victory over UCLAN, whilst leaders Leeds Met were given a real fright by Hull before eventually coming through 22-20. Meanwhile, Gloucestershire kept up the pressure on the top two with a comfortable 44-10 win at Edge Hill.
