Loughborough retained the Men’s Cricket Trophy in a repeat of the 2010 final, overcoming a stubborn UWIC team at the University Parks at Oxford University. In a day that had ‘four seasons in one day’ the morning heavy rain was replaced by windy conditions which lead to a warm and sunny early evening finish.

BUCS man of the match Rob Wolley led his Cambridge team to an impressive 100 run victory over defending champions Cardiff at the beautiful Wormsley Cricket Ground. A game that was threatened by the morning weather saw some fine cricket in the afternoon sunshine.

The England Futsal team take on Greece in a double header this Friday & Saturday at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Ten of the squad have played in BUCS Championships or represented GB students at the World University Futsal Championships so it is a great achievement to have so many players represent England at the highest level.
