Cambridge wrapped up a perfect season last Thursday, defeating Birmingham University 11 - 7 at Mount St Mary's College, Sheffield in the BUSA Women's Lacrosse Championship Final part of the British University Championship

The 2008 BUSA Volleyball Finals were held in Sheffield as part of the
first British University Championship, with 20 BUSA sport finals in the same city over four days.

Great Britain basketballer Stef Collins was named MVP of the women's Championship final at the British University Championships where her team, the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, beat Northumbria University 80-79.

The Championships in Sheffield rolled into day 2 today as basketball, volleyball, tennis and waterpolo all joined the action.

The British University Championships may be a day old but the action continues to come thick and fast.

The first day of the British University Championships took place today (Thursday 13) with the sun high over the Yorkshire city of Sheffield. Football, hockey, lacrosse and rugby league all started their journey at the Championships with some surprising results along the way.
