Hertfordshire University hosted the Women’s Football Shield Final yesterday (28 March) on a pitch that was like a carpet, allowing both sides to play some attractive football.

Bournemouth Men’s 1st's 3, Sunderland Men’s 1st's 0; Ian McIntosh, Richard Bentley and Chris Kennedy scored the extra time goals to give Bournemouth University the 2007 BUSA Men’s Football Plate yesterday (28 March 2007).

BUSA Men’s Rugby semi-final, 28th March 2007; Exeter 7 UWE Hartpury 28. Hartpury scored fifteen unanswered points in the opening 40 minutes, and held off a determined Exeter fightback early in the second half to book their place in the BUSA Rugby Championship Final against UWIC at Twickenham on 25 April.

The 2006/07 Men’s Football Shield Final proved to be an entertaining and exciting game which was well received by the many spectators at Hertfordshire University. The fantastic conditions and facilities paved the way for a high quality football match. In the end it was Hull who incredibly completed their 100% record in BUSA for the 2006/07 season, but not without a fight from Exeter.
