Get your trainers out – the 40th Manchester Cross Country Relay is coming to Wythenshawe Sports Ground on Saturday 7th October and students are being encouraged to get a team together and enter!

Monday 18 September 2006, Nottingham – A presentation was held during the Finals of the British Open Squash Championships to the Great Britain Squash Team for their recent victories at the World University Squash Championship in Hungary.

Birmingham University student Jason Palmer has won the Match Play Title at the Italian Open Amateur Championship at Golf Club Villa D’Este.

Great Britain take home two gold medals from the World University Wildwater Canoe Championships in Krakow, Poland.
