Paralympic archery Champion and University of Leicester student Danielle Brown is hoping that a move to full-time training next year will help her retain her crown at the 2012 Games.

University of Liverpool student Beth Tweddle triumphed at the World Gymnastics Championships at The 02 in London yesterday winning a gold medal in the Floor finals.  After falling in the qualification rounds of her favoured event, the parallel bars, Tweddle went on to make amends and scored 14.650 in the final of the Floor event to take the gold medal.
