The University of Birmingham and Nottingham Trent University become the first BUCS Champions On April 20th the John Charles Stadium in Leeds played host to two fabulous games of football as the American football play offs culminated in the National Championship and National Challenge Trophy finals....

The weather is continuing to affect BUCS fixtures this weekend and the latest fixtures to fall victim to the weather are the BUCS Rugby Union men's and women's Trophy finals and the men's Vase final all due to be played Sunday 24th March. 

The latest edition to the BUCS sporting programme is one of the fastest growing sports in the country.

The University of Stirling "Clansmen" captured a significant win away to the Edinburgh University "Predators" on Saturday, in the first ever BUCS American Football match.  British American Football took a big step forward over the summer of 2012, becoming affiliated with BUCS and it was fitting that Stirling, who actually played in the first ever collegiate game back in 1984, should be a part of it.

The British American Football Association (BAFA) has selected IFAF World Team Progamme coach Wayne Hill as the new Head Coach of the Great Britain Student Team.

Having gone through the BUCS Sport Criteria assessment successfully we are delighted to announce that American Football is now a BUCS sanctioned sport. BUCS has been working closely with Andy Fuller and BUAFL / BAFA to ensure compliance to BUCS rules and regulations and is pleased with the growth of the game within higher education. We are all looking forward to continue this relationship and provide a great experience for all those associated with the game.
