With the selection of athletes to represent Great Britain at the World University Games (WUGs) underway we celebrate the start of the journey to Kazan and showcase the new teamwear kit they will wear in this fantastic video. 

British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) and Kukri, Official Teamwear Partner for Team GBR, today proudly present the kit that will be worn by British athletes at the 2013 World University Games (WUGs) in Kazan, Russia in July of this summer.

With 6 months to go, and following the recent UK Sport funding announcement for the Rio 2016 cycle, the Great Britain entries for the Summer Universiade 2013 have now been confirmed in collaboration with the performance departments of each National Governing Body.

Monday 22nd October saw British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) launch the impact report, ‘Placing Higher Education in the Performance Pathway’ to an audience of performance directors, university directors of sport and FISU officials. The launch of this report took place a mere 15 minutes from the Olympic park at the University of East London in the busy Sports Dock.

 BUCS has introduced an Anti-social Behaviour Policy which will come into effect for the start of the new season. All members must sign and return a copy of the policy to the BUCS offfice by Wednesday 12 October.
