  • Leeds Met Carnegie overcame a spirited Loughborough performance to claim BUCS glory for yet another year, winning 42-14 at Headingly Stadium last night. Loughborough, buoyed by a win earlier in the season against their opponents, came into the game with high hopes and tested their adversaries throughout. Leeds Met were determined to prove that the 28-22 turnaround was a one-off, and they justified their position as the most feared team in rugby league with a ruthless display.
