The biggest surf competition in the Europe returned to Newquay this weekend as the UK’s best student surfers took to the waves off Fistral beach, in what many locals called the best surfing conditions of the year, to battle it out for gold in the BUCS Barefoot Wine Surf Championships.

BUCS are deilghted to announce that Star Surf Camps will be joining the BUCS Barefoot Wine Surf Championships this year as our official surf holiday provider.

This weekend sees the biggest student surf event in the world take place at Fistral Beach in Newquay, with 350 surfers taking part in the BUCS Barefoot Wine Surf Championships.

It's less than a week until the start of the BUCS Barefoot Wine Surf Championships 2012 and we are delighted to announce there is a chance for you to win a VIP experience from our friends at Barefoot Wine.

BUCS Barefoot Wine Surfing Championships merchandise is now available online at www.bucs.org.uk/shop and will also be available to buy at the Kukri Sports stand on Fistral Beach on the Friday and Saturday of the championships.
