British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) held their Individuals Table Tennis Tournament on the Jubilee Campus of Nottingham University over the last weekend.

With just three weeks until the inaurgal BUCS Big Wedneday takes place at Leeds Metropolitan University the competition for final places is hotting up. This week the university teams still on the road to Big Wednesday take part in the final stages of the knockout competition hoping to book their place in th final and keep their dreams of BUCS gold alive.

Monday 22nd October saw British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) launch the impact report, ‘Placing Higher Education in the Performance Pathway’ to an audience of performance directors, university directors of sport and FISU officials. The launch of this report took place a mere 15 minutes from the Olympic park at the University of East London in the busy Sports Dock.

EUSA (European Universities Sports Association) events are “Champions League” competitions for Universities and allow the top Universities in the BUCS Competitions to compete against the best Universities in Europe. BUCS is the EUSA member federation for Great Britain.
