The highlight of the student bowling calendar is the BUCS Gatorade Nationals which this season took place in Sheffield (at 1st Bowl, Firth Park) on the weekend of the 23rd/24th February 2013.

Nearly 6,000 student athletes from 134 UK universities and colleges were in action over the weekend (22 – 24 February 2013) as the inaugural BUCS Gatorade Nationals took place in Sheffield.

The BUCS Tenpin Bowling Championships will take place in Sheffield as part of the UK’s largest annual multi-sport event, the BUCS Gatorade Nationals, an appropriate place for a Championships with an unbroken history stretching back to at least 1968/9 when Manchester were crowned the UAU Tenpin Bowling Champions.

 BUCS has introduced an Anti-social Behaviour Policy which will come into effect for the start of the new season. All members must sign and return a copy of the policy to the BUCS offfice by Wednesday 12 October.

The BUCS Sport Development team is hosting it's first Coaching Development Day on Tuesday 1st March at the University of Birmingham.
