Yorkshire county player Will Shucksmith, a 21-year-economics student at Durham University, rallied over the final nine holes to regain the lead and win the British universities' men's stroke-play championship at Murrayshall Golf Club, Perthshire on 22nd June.

British University Rowing have included crews from nine universities in their Great Britain squad to contest the inaugural European Universities Rowing Regatta on the new Cardiff Bay International Course, July 22-24.

The 2005 Individual Golf Championships are being held at Murrayshall Golf Courses, Perth from the 20-22 June. Click more for a full report on round 1 and a full list of scores.

The Sports Personalities of the Year Winners were anounced at this years Annual Awards Dinner held at The New Connaught Rooms on the 16th June. The Catogries included Sportsman, Sportswoman, Team and Contribution. Click more for the Winners.
