Extra tickets for three days of the BUCS Visa Outdoor Athletics Championships - a London 2012 test event as part of the London Prepares series - are now available to BUCS members via Ticketmaster at  http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/promo/73gikw?brand=uk_londonprepares. 

Following exceptional demand 6,000 additional tickets will now be made available to BUCS members as part of a second phase ticket release from 10am today, Thursday 19 April. 

An additional 2,000 tickets per day are being released exclusively for BUCS members, friends and families over the following days:

•    Friday 4th May - evening session: all tickets £5
•    Sunday 6th May – all day ticket £5
•    Monday 7th May – morning session: all tickets £5

BUCS member universities, their staff, students, friends and families must enter the exclusive code BUCSPREPARES for either adult or concession tickets when selecting tickets to access all these sessions.  Group bookings for parties of 20 or more are also available by calling 0844 844 2121, press option 4 for the London Prepares series and quote the same code.

As a proud partner of London 2012, Visa (debit, credit, prepaid) is the only card accepted for ticket sales for this London Prepares series of events.

Taking place in the Olympic Stadium from 04 - 07 May, the BUCS Visa Outdoor Athletics Championships will see up to 1,200 athletes from all over the UK competing for glory across 15 disciplines in four days.

The BUCS Visa Outdoor Athletics Championships is part of Universities Week 2012, which will recognise and celebrate the contribution that universities make – and have always made – to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the sports industry in the UK.  The Week is part of a celebration of UK universities’ world-class status, their support for students and the huge contribution they make to society as a whole.
