In March 2012 the University of East London will launch its £21 million state-of-the-art sports facility, SportsDock.

UEL SportsIn March 2012 the University of East London will open its £21 million state-of-the-art sports facility, SportsDock. SportsDock will offer a host of world-class facilities including, state-of-the-art 120 piece fitness centre, two large multi-court sports arena, dedicated strength and conditioning room, dance and aerobics studio, two outdoor 3G 5 a-side football pitches and a Sports café.

UELSports would like to invite all BUCS members join double Paralympic medal winner, Ade Adepitan MBE and four times American Olympic medal winner and Chef de Mission for Team USA, Teresa Edwards at this special community event. The event marks the official launch of the University of East London's new £21 million state-of-the-art sports facility, SportsDock.

A full schedule of interactive activities are planned throughout the whole day, featuring demonstrations from local sports clubs, taster sessions, tours and inductions, the family zone, music, dance, healthy lifestyle advice and much more to engage visitors of all ages.
