Loughborough University Student Jonnie Schofield has taken gold in the K1 men's sprint at the Wild Water World Cup held in Mezzana, Itlay.

Congratulations to BUSA Associate Member, Lynn Davies who has been awarded a CBE and friend of BUSA, Dave Luckes who has been awarded an MBE in the Queens 80th Birthday Honours List. 

The Golf Individual Strokeplay Championships took place from the 12-14 June at The Tytherington Club and De Vere Mottram Hall. Ed Parker, Birmingham and Janet Phipps, Exeter stole the show by both winning the Individual Championships, Order of Merit Round 4 and becoming Overall Order of Merit Champions for 2005-2006.

University of Plymouth student, Andrew Byatt will be flying the flag for Britain this week as he competes in the British Triathlon team at the European Championships in Burgundy, France from the 23 - 25 of June.

The Men's Great Britain Archery team finished in third place in the compound event at the 6th World University Archery Championships in Slovakia Vinicne.
