  • Three British medal winners from past World University Games have won gold medals in the Stockholm leg of the FINA World Cup Swimming Series.

  • The British University Basketball Disciplinary Procedures came into effect for the first time today, since their introduction to the game in November 2005.

  • Following the huge success of the first round of the Concept2 Freshers Challenge British Universities Rowing have announced that the top six ranked Universities after the four rounds will now all be rewarded for their efforts with an additional £1,500 of prizes.

  • BUSA is seeking to appoint a new CEO, to take up appointment as soon as possible. BUSA provides an extensive sporting programme to 148 Universities, as well as selecting teams to attend international events. The Association also plays a major role in the development of sport within the Higher Education sector.
