  • BUCS presented £7500 worth of cheques to university tennis clubs up and down the country last week, as the BUCS Barclays development awards were awarded to 14 universities.  Over 40 university tennis clubs applied for the cash award with a shortlist of 19 universities drawn up by the awarding panel.

  • The BUCS Senior managers Christmas Seminar took place on Wednesday 8th December in the Skempton Building at Imperial College, London. The event provided an opportunity for BUCS members not only to discuss political, strategic and financial issues influencing higher education and the sporting offer but to listen to a host of sector experts and leaders on a variety of topics.

  • The BUCS Sport Development team is hosting it's first Coaching Development Day on Tuesday 1st March at the University of Birmingham.

  • British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) is looking to appoint a Team Coach for the Great Britain Tennis Team competing at the 2011 World University Games (the Universiade). The successful applicant will take on the role for one World University Games cycle, from appointment through to August 2011. For further information please click here
