  • London Met Complete Tennis Clean Sweep 18/12/07

    After 5 days of competition, the Barclays BUSA Individual Tennis Championships 2007 saw London Metropolitan University taking all four titles on a day of four high quality finals. Both Anna Koumantou and Matjaz Jurman took home the individual and doubles titles for the women and men respectively.

  • Final Showdown 17/12/07

    The Barclays BUSA Individual Tennis Championships are drawing to a close after 4 days of superb tennis to match the outstanding facilities at the University of Bath.  The finals will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) with the best of University tennis on show.

  • Individual Fencing Championships 10/12/07

    The 2007 BUSA Fencing Individual Championships was a record breaking event that saw 636 student fencers compete over three days at the University of Nottingham.

  • Calling any Rugby Players in Surrey at Xmas! 03/12/07

    Last season saw the launch of the Surrey Under 21 Cup contested by 4 teams from the Mole Valley cluster. This extremely popular competition, won by Old Reigatian, will be open to all clubs within the county in 2007/08 with the regional matches to be played over the Christmas period and the Finals during the Easter period.

  • BUSA SMALL BOATS HEAD 2007 03/12/07

    The BUSA Small Boats Head took place this weekend in Nottingham on what was a beautiful winter’s day.  The East Midlands Amateur Rowing Association in conjunction with Nottingham Boat Club ran a successful event on behalf of BUSA which saw an increase in entries from 75 in 2006 to 135 this year; it also saw the inclusion for the first time of the University of Durham Boat Club.

  • BUSA Chairman elected Treasurer of EUSA 03/12/07

    BUSA Chairman Phil Attwell has been elected Treasurer of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) at the 9th General Assembly which took place in Belgrade, Serbia from 30 November to 2 December.
