Great Britain's Women’s Cross Country Team celebrated team gold on Friday 24th March in Alger, Algiers at the World University Championships (WUCs), with the support of UK Athletics.

Of the 110 British Medals won at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games over 50 of them were won by BUSA athletes, both current and alumni. England won 43 Medals, 18 gold, 16 silver and 9 bronze. BUSA athletes representing Scotland took home 6 Medals, and Wales 2 gold.
