Great Britain Mens Rugby Sevens Team returned from Rome, Italy with a silver medal where the 2nd World University Rugby Sevens Championships took place over the weekend.  

The GBR Karate Delegation made a huge impact in New York winning a haul of medals from the World University Karate Championships.  The pick of the bunch was Natalie Williams (Brunel) who returned with a Gold, to add to her Gold won in Mexico 2002, and a Silver. 

The new Great Britain Sevens side is out to blaze a trail at this week’s World University Championships.
Scotland centre John Houston leads the first unified rugby team in the history of the British Universities Sports Association in Rome on August 4-6.

Dr Guy Jackson has been appointed as ECB National Academy Manager. Jackson has been Team Manager for both British Universities and Loughborough University and is also Director of Sports Development & Marketing and Director of Cricket at Loughborough University.
