The British team got off to a tremendous start at the World University Chamionships in Kosice, Slovakia.

Nottingham Trent University graduates Louise Donnigton and Colin Radmore have been selected to represent Great Britain at the World University Wildwater Canoe Championships.

Four BUSA athletes past and present, won medals at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenberg last week.

Great Britain will bring home an impressive 4 medals, taking 2 gold and 2 silver positions from the World University Rowing Championships in Trakai, Lithuania held from the 11 – 13 August.

The five universities of the North East of England (Durham, Northumbria, Newcastle, Sunderland and Teesside) have a shared vision and commitment to regional development.
