Yesterday (Sunday) saw the BUSA squad perform extremely well at the Loughborough international, returning from the event with a men’s overall 3rd place.  The event, which saw six teams compete over one day (GB U20, senior teams representing England, Scotland, Wales, British Universities and Loughborough Past and Present) battled it out at Loughborough University’s HiPac.

The British Olympic Association (BOA) have selected World University Games 2007 Team GBR Flag Bearer Alex O'Connell (Fencing - Cambridge) as a further member of Team GB for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  

The BUSA team has been selected to compete at this Sunday’s Loughborough
International Athletics Meeting and it includes some world class athletes vying for places at the Beijing Olympics.

Two players from the English Universities Men's squad have recently signed professional contracts with Football League Clubs.

A strike by Bethan Price and a penalty save from Jo Price gave UWIC a 1-0 victory over Northumbria in the BUSA Women’s Football Championship Final on an afternoon of high tension and high temperatures.

The BUSA Outdoor Athletics Championships held in Bedford over the Bank Holiday weekend saw a fantastic three days of competition with three Championship Best Performances and two Senior Scottish National Records being smashed.
