    Two of Britain’s hopeful medallists for the Beijing Olympics next year have offered their support to the first ever British University Championships, to be held in Sheffield next March 13-16, as all 20 sports and 11 venues have been confirmed.

  • Swimming Long Course Championships

    The BUSA Swimming season begins this weekend, with the first of three visits to Ponds Forge in Sheffield for the Short Course Championships 2007 on 16-18 November. A record number of entries this years means an exciting three days of action in the pool is in store, with Loughborough looking to retain their Men's, Women's and Overall Short Course titles.

  • Tennis

    BUSA is very pleased to be working with the European Collegiate Tennis Association (ECTA) to run the inaugural BARCLAYS EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY MEN'S TEAM INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT.  The event takes place this weekend at the new National Training Centre at Roehampton. There are 8 men's teams - from across Europe competing and the standard is expected to be very high.

  • BUSA Sailing

    Some 300 sailors invaded Weymouth over the weekend (3-4 November), all hoping to walk away with the first BUSA (British University Sports Association) points of the season.
