    This year sees a new set up for the English Universities football programme. The focus for this years programme is player development. Team Manager Steve Sharman said "This year we are delighted that we have had buy in form many highly experienced staff in the HE sector to come in and deliver such a focused National football programme".

    The Barclays BUSA USA Tour squad travel to the USA today (Thursday) for the annual tennis competition against some of the best university tennis teams America has to offer. As part of their continuing commitment to university tennis, Barclays have once again provided the funding to allow a representative side to travel to the USA to compete against some of the top West Coast universities.

  • University Talent on show at the World Fencing Championships 18/09/07

    After a successful World University Games in Bangkok some of the Team GBR Fencing Squad have now been selected to represent Britain at the World Fencing Championships taking place between the 28 September – 7 October 2007 in St Petersburg.

  • BUSA Athletes Involved at Table Tennis Six Nations Championships 18/09/07

    This weekend saw the 34th Six Nations International Table Tennis Championships held in Douglas, Isle of Man, in the National Sports Centre. All of the six nations attended (England, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Scotland, Ireland and Wales) with strong squads hoping to impress with 3 BUSA Individual Champions involved over the weekend.

    Dan Tennant-Ralphs, a student at Cardiff University has taken his anti racism campaign in football to the next level. From getting his Intra Mural team Euros FC to wear the t-shirt he has gone onto interview Bristol City player Kevin Betsy, who talks about his experiences & views on racism in football, as well as getting many top players & names in the game.
