  • The FA seek interest in a new national five-a-side Futsal league 30/04/07

    The FA is researching the establishment of a new national five-a-side Futsal league that will kick-off in 2007/8, and is seeking expressions of interest from clubs and organisations wishing to register their interest in entering the competition. The FA Futsal League will offer the opportunity for a team to be crowned the official national champions and to qualify as England’s representative in the UEFA Futsal Cup.

  • Bath & Leeds Met Take Pool Honours 30/04/07

    Bath and Leeds Metropolitan took home the honours from the weekend's BUSA Swimming Team Finals at the University of Nottingham. Bath's first team lead throughout the day to take the Championship title, with Leeds Metropolitan's first team winning the Trophy title.

  • English Universities retain the BUSA-UPC Pool Home Nations Crown 26/04/07

    English Universities, under the guidance of Team Manager Jon Shapland, secured the BUSA-UPC Pool Home Nations title with a dominating 8-2 victory over Welsh Universities in the final.  Mark McCulloch, making his final bow at university cue sports, won the UPC Masters to take the trophy north of the border.

  • UWIC lose Heart as UWE Hartpury take the Title 25/04/07

    On a sun-drenched day in Twickenham UWE Hartpury walked away with the BUSA Men’s Rugby Union Championship title with an impressive display against UWIC.  This victory made it a 100% success rate for UWE Hartpury Rugby Club as their second team walked away with the BUSA Trophy title earlier on in the day.
