    The annual race to the overall BUSA champion has begun again with the first set of BUSA points being awarded to all the competitions happening up until the end of November.

    Sunday saw the new Regional Trial format for the English Universities two year development programme take place. The Northern section was hosted by Leeds Met Carnegie, the Midlands by Warwick University and the Southern section by the University of Hertfordshire

    TeamBath judo players Tom Reed and Andy Burns were the only British men to medal at the European Under-23 Judo Championships at the weekend.

  • Bath’s Brilliant BUSA 23/11/07

    Following England’s encouraging showing at the 2007 World Juniors Championship in Auckland last month, the prolific performances of Bath HPC players at the 2007 BUSA Individuals Championship held over the weekend of 16-19 November was a double boost to England’s podium prospects at the 2012 Olympic Games which England will be hosting.

  • World Class BUSA Judo Athletes selected for European –23 Team 23/11/07

    Andrew Burns, is among three other world class BUSA athletes that have been selected for the British Judo team that today departed for Salzburg, Austria, for the 2007 European -23year Championships, which will take place this weekend (24th & 25th November).

  • POMPEY PROVE THEIR POINT 22/11/07

    Portsmouth University staged another spectacular show at the Lux nightclub within their Student Union. 13 Portsmouth boxers represented their university on an exciting evening of 15 bouts.
