The English Universities Men's Football Squad to play Ipswich Town FC in a friendly at Loughborough University on Friday 4 July has been selected.

Team GBR took women's team silver at the World University Triathlon Championship held in Erdek, Turkey this past weekend (28 June). This was an impressive result by the Great Britian team as the event saw a participation record for a WUC Triathlon. 

Two GBR match racing teams will be heading to Gdansk, Poland for the fourth FISU World University Match Racing Championship being held from 1 – 6 July

Over 300 delegates from 70 UK universities and colleges today (25.06.08) came together for the first British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) conference at the University of Sussex.

91-year-old football coach Ivor Powell will be presented with his MBE at Buckingham Palace tomorrow (Wednesday). Powell, a member of the coaching staff at TeamBath FC, was awarded the MBE in the 2008 New Year’s Honours List.
