The curtain came down on Sunday on the first ever British University Championships after four days of competition in Sheffield. Seb Coe commented that ‘our universities have a rich tradition for producing some of the country’s finest athletes’ and this proved to be the case in Sheffield as some of the best young talent shone on the multi-sport stage.

Bath Crowned BUSA Netball Champions
20/03/08The final showdown of BUSA Champions to meet in Sheffield at the first ever BUCs fell to netball and what a showdown it was. The match saw two big guns of University netball, Loughborough and Bath, playing to be crowned BUSA Champions 2008. The EIS hosted a large crowd of supporters from both sides, although Best Supporter, dedicated enough to paint her whole body Blue and Yellow has got to go to Serena Guthrie of Team Bath.
