Rileys, Coventry hosted the keenly contested BUSA-UPC Eight-Ball Shield with Robert Gordon University 1st emerging triumphant in the final after overcoming a spirited University of Edge Hill 2nd fight-back. Robert Gordon 1st and Edge Hill 2nd, alongside all the Shield quarter-finalists, will be keen to make an impression on the biggest university stage when they compete in the BUSA-UPC Eight-ball Championship/Trophy in 2008-09.

English Universities defeat the RAF
22/02/08Monday 18 February saw English Universities take on the RAF at Uxbridge in the first representative game of the year. 17 of the 28 man squad travelled to Uxbridge for match preparation during the day and an evening kick off against the RAF squad.

As Chair of UKUS, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Karen Rothery as the first Chief Executive of our new organisation. Karen is currently the Commercial Director for England Netball where she has significantly increased its commercial activities and funding as well as improved services to its members.
