    Great Britain have finished just outside the medals in the women's long distance World University Orienteering Championships with Mhairi Mackenzie (Edinburgh) finishing just 16 seconds behind the top 3 finishers.

    Great Britain’s Scott Fraser took bronze in the Sprint at the World University Orienteering Championships held in Tartu, Estonia.

    The annual British Universities Golf Home Nations event, supported as always by generous funding from the R & A, begins next Tuesday (5 August) at the Five Lakes Golf Club in Essex. Teams from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales with play each other over three days of matchplay competition, both in foursomes and singles, to see whether Scotland can retain their title.

    BUCS Executive Elected Member for Professional Advisory Groups Neil Mosley completed a London to Paris bike ride last weekend, raising over £6000 for charity in the process.

  • BUCS Rugby

    UWIC RFC came close to retaining their European Title in the 2nd EUSA Rugby 7’s held in Rome from 24-27 July 2008 losing out to Limoges (France) in the Final.

  • BUSA Table Tennis

    This year’s European Universities Table Tennis Championship was held in Latina, Italy between 18 - 23 June 2008. The five day event featured 16 teams from 11 countries in the Men’s categories.
