Great Britian Triumph over Italy in Men's Curling:

The heirs of the inventors of this sport, which was born in Scotland 5 centuries ago, honour their eminent past and teach Italy a hard lesson. 

Don Wilson, Chef De Mission for Team Canada (CIS) is pleased to announce that Canada has teamed up with Great Britain (BUSA) and the United States (USOC) in donating dry goods to the local food bank by delivering the products to the Lions Club of Torino, Italy. 

The World University Winter Games in Torino, Italy, are proving to be a steep learning curve for the inexperienced Great Britain Squads as the results over the weekend highlight.

The World University Winter Games in Torino are now in full swing, with Great Britain having already competed in three of our six sports.  

The 23rd World University Winter Games commenced yesterday (17 January 2007) with an Opening Ceremony that was a spectacle for the 47 nations competing in the Games.

As most new year resolutions head towards their inevitable abandonment come mid-January, an increasing number of us are looking towards volunteering for a more fulfilling pledge. Better still, you don’t have to travel halfway across the globe to do it.
