World University Athletics Championship medallist Kate Reed is favourite to win the BUSA Cross Country Championship that incorporates the UK Trails for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships GB Team on Saturday 3 February 2007.

This Saturday's BUSA Cross Country Championships at the University of Bath will have added interest.  The event is also acting as the official trials for the Norwich Union GB Senior Team heading for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships being staged in Mombasa, Kenya, on Saturday 24 March.

Great Britain won a well deserved silver Medal in the Final of the Men’s Curling event at the World University Winter Game in Torino, Italy today.

On Thursday 18 January 2007 a second Joint Symposium between British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) and University and College Sport (UCS) members was held at Coventry University to consider the establishment of a new single body for Higher Education (HE) Sport in the UK.
