  • Loughborough University take the Men's and Women's Rugby Union Championship Titles in two fantastic finals held at Twickenham. The Women's final finished Loughborough 22 UWIC 20 and the Men beat UWE Hartpury 19 - 16. Click more for full match reports from ADAM WILD.

  • The West of England's Fiona Davidson has won the 2005 BUSA dressage competition, beating Natasha Mansell (Buckinghamshire) in a close final.

  • The 2005 British Universities Rugby Union Finals will be held at RFU Twickenham on April 27th, with the two men’s and women’s finalists competing for the ultimate prize in university rugby: the title of British Universities Rugby Union Champions.

  • Exeter, Bournemouth, Loughborough and Stirling are through to the Golf Championship Semi Finals. This will take place on the 9th May at the Notts Golf Club, Hollinwell, with the final being on the 10th May.

  • A £7 million world-class, indoor athletics 110m track, training centre and netball hall, the first in the region for elite athletes, is to open at Brunel University in West London, on Wednesday April 20.
