  • Team Northumbria’s Futsal heroes will represent the north at next month’s FA Futsal Cup Finals after shooting down their regional rivals in Sheffield.

  • The University of Hull have become a FA Mars Just Play Centre and will be hosting three sessions per week to get more people playing football. The Just Play Centre at the University is intended to meet several needs.

  • BUCS are pleased to announce that Bournemouth University have successfully become an FA Mars Just Play Centre. The FA Mars Just Play Kickabouts are designed to inspire adults to play regular, accessible football in any form no matter what their level of experience and ability.

     

  • ENGLAND’s footballers will take on the world this summer with a little help from sports experts from Manchester Metropolitan University.

    Craig Boyd from the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at Crewe has  traveled to Denmark with Stuart Pearce’s England U21 hopefuls, while Nigel Deeley, also from ESS, is joining up with the U17 squad for the FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

It will see higher education institutions around the country take part in a variety of local, regional and national activities designed to demonstrate the extraordinary, life-changing work of universities.
